Definitions

The Company” and ‘Seller; means Tommy Tiler

‘Buyer’ and ‘Customer’ means the person who accepts a quotation from the Seller, for the sale of the Goods and agrees to buy the Goods from the Seller

‘Goods’ means the tiles and other products which the Buyer agrees to purchase from the Seller

‘Order’ and ‘ Contract’ means the Order or Contract for the sale and purchase of the Goods between the Buyer and the Seller

‘Price’ means the price for the Goods excluding where applicable, any carriage, packaging, insurance and VAT

Content

The contents of this site including product prices delivery charges and product details are subject to change at any time without notice. We may also revise or update these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Use of this site and purchases of products offered for sale on this site are subject to the terms and conditions posted on the site at the time of your visit.

Ordering Samples:

You can purchase most of our tiles in quantities of 1 online as a sample to give you an opportunity to see the tile before you buy.

 

Ordering

After selecting your products from the range available, you will proceed to the checkout area.  There you will be able to check and amend your order before submitting it. When you submit the order, you are offering to purchase the products from us at the prices stated on the Website. If the prices or charges are different from those published we will contact you before we accept the order and you will have the option to cancel your order.

You will be passed to a secure online payment authorisation service that will process your card details and obtain payment from your card provider.

We will send you written confirmation of your order by Email but this email will not constitute acceptance of your order. The contract between you and us will take place when you receive the email from us that states the order has been dispatched. we accept your order at the time we dispatch the ordered products to you and it is at that moment that a contract for sale is made between you and us. All our contracts are concluded in English although contracts for sale will neither be filed by us nor accessible to you. Any cancellations of an order can be made in accordance with the section titled ‘Returns,.

If we are unable to supply you with the product, or we are unable to obtain authorisation of your payment and we can not process your order you will be notified by email or telephone and the order will not be processed.  It you have already paid for the product we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible within 14 days.

Please note acceptance of any order is at our discretion.

We will take payment from your card at the time you submit your order. The website will use an SSL and the credit card detail will be entered on a secure page.  Transfer of sensitive information will be encrypted.

 

 

Pricing

Prices on the website are in sterling pounds unless otherwise stated.

The prices payable for the items we offer for sale are clearly displayed on this site in pounds sterling and are totaled to include VAT payable unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include the costs of delivery details of which are set out below.

In the event that there is a pricing error on the website, Tommy Tiler will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.  You will be notified immediately that this is the case and Tommy Tiler will not be held liable.

 

Delivery

If the delivery is within a 30 mile radius of WS1 2LN then it will be free and on stocked items can be next day but standard delivery will be between 3-5 days or on arrangement.  For delivery outside of this are please contact us at our contact us page for a price of delivery.  You must make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of products when we deliver them in accordance with the stated delivery times for the delivery charge you have paid. Deliveries will need to be signed for so make sure someone is available to accept the delivery. Before signing for goods, please ensure that all products have been carefully inspected and in the unlikely event of damage, send back with the driver and inform us by email within 48 hours of the problem.  If you do not accept delivery of the products or we are unable to deliver or are delayed in delivering products because of your actions or omissions then we may charge you and you will be liable to pay us for all costs we incur. Once our transport company has collected your goods from our warehouse if you wish to cancel your order, you would be liable for transportation return charges. Standard delivery will be between 3- 5 working days.

We only deliver to mainland England and Wales.  

 

 

Late Delivery

  Tommy Tiler will not under any circumstances entertain any financial demands from the customer for late or       incorrect delivery. We always recommend that you never book a tiler or other workman until the goods have been delivered and inspected.

 

Refunds & Returns

The following information is intended as a guideline. We will use our discretion with individual circumstances.

 Please note the method of refund must be the same as the method of payment and will be made within 14 days of notification of cancellation/return of goods.

 

Cancellations:

 

If you wish to cancel your order before delivery please inform us by email to enquiries@tommytiler.co.uk            or telephone 01922 641075 You will require to state your name, address, order number and details of cancellation.

You can cancel the order after delivery if made within 14 days of delivery.  Please email enquiries@tommytiler.co.uk to inform us of cancellation and you will need to arrange to send the goods back to Tommy Tiler.You will bear the cost of returning the goods to us except where the goods are faulty, in which case we will arrange with you for collection.

 

We may make a deduction from any reimbursement to you for any loss in value of the goods supplied.  Please note, we are unable to accept returns for any tiles or cladding that have been installed even if within the 14 day cancellation period. 

 

Resaleable Goods Refunds & Returns:

The below applies to goods outside of the fourteen working day cancellation policy outlined above.

If you have completed your tiling and wish to return any re-saleable goods we will provide you with a refund. Please note that only full boxes of tiles will be refunded. Simply return the items within 28 days of receipt of goods in their original condition. Adhesive or grout which has been opened and tools which have been used are non refundable. Tommy Tiler reserve the right not to refund if the goods are deemed as not being in a re-saleable condition. Any delivery charge will not be refunded.

Please note that some of our products are classed as ’special order’, this means the products are custom made or specifically ordered for individual customers, as such any return of these items will incur a restocking charge of 20% of the price paid for the goods if returned within the 28 days (but after the 14 calendar day cancellation policy).

Refunds will only be processed once the goods have arrived with us and we have inspected their condition and deemed them to be in suitable condition for resale. Any delivery charge from the original order will not be refunded.

Please note once a refund is processed it may take up to 14 days for the funds to appear back on your card, this is dependent on the card provider and is not under the influence of Tommy tiler. Acceptance of these terms and conditions at the point of purchase represents acceptance of the refund period of up to 14 days.

 

Damaged/Incorrect Goods Refunds & Returns:

All goods must be checked and signed for by the customer on receipt of goods. No responsibility for damaged product, shortages or incorrect products can be accepted after 48 hours..

Where you purchase goods from us that are faulty we shall (at our option) repair or replace such goods or refund the price of such goods provided that you give us notice within 48 hours of the date of your acceptance of the goods and provided that damage to the goods has not been caused by you. Our entire liability to you shall be limited to the price you paid for the goods and we shall not be responsible for any consequential or other financial loss that you may seek to claim for regarding the tiling or flooring job you are carrying out. All damaged goods will be replaced on standard delivery at our cost if paid initially.

 

 

 

Description of Goods:

We make every effort to ensure that all descriptions and pictures on our web site are described and reflect the product accurately.  However, the descriptions and pictures on our website do not form part of the contract between us and you.  They are designed to represent a general idea of the goods.  We would always recommend that if it is a specific colour or finish required that a sample is purchased prior to main delivery.  


Ownership of Rights:

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to us. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, distribute or re-post something on this website for any purpose.
